The architectural conception of the residence located in the Morumbi neighborhood in São Paulo, follows a structural reasoning, evident in the large overhangs resulting from the ribbed slabs.
The residence is resolved in 3 levels, the first for the garage and service areas, the second for the kitchen and living room, and the upper for the bedrooms and intimate living room.
It is a typically urban house on a steep slope from the street, so the architectural design is almost an immediate response to the conditions of the place, which offers its greatest boundary to the north and to the view of an extraordinary and rare portion of forest.
The wooden side gable is a prominent element since it marks the main access to the residence, guarantees the privacy of the residents, protects the construction from excessive sunlight in addition to creating a pleasant living space on the balcony.
Steel is represented through the refined design of elements such as railing and frames. On the second floor, shrimp-type aluminum panels filter excessive sunlight in addition to bringing rhythm and movement to the main facade. A steel frame protrudes from the wooden side elevation marking the bathroom windows.
