Plaza Torre Norte was implemented as part of the expansion of an existing shopping
center and the incorporation of adjacent land, forming a large-scale multifunctional
complex. Located in a developing urban area, the complex articulates corporate,
commercial, residential, and hotel uses through direct connections between the
buildings and the commercial center. The terrain had a moderate unevenness, used
as an implementation strategy, in addition to requiring road adjustments and
drainage solutions integrated with the urban infrastructure.
The building is primarily intended for corporate use, housing office floors designed for different occupancy profiles. Integrated into the complex, the North Tower establishes direct relations with the mall and with the other programs of the development, also adding lobby,
restaurants and commercial support spaces.
The uniqueness of this project lies in the introduction of a contemporary architectural language with an international character in the local landscape. The conception of this project privileges constructive rationality, formal clarity and a strong urban presence. The façade, composed of glass, aluminum and metal louvers, was designed to respond to
intense sunlight, associating technical performance, sun protection and architectural
identity.
