The Alameda Restaurant, located in Esporte Clube Pinheiros, arises from the challenge of materializing, in an area of important coexistence and convergence of the club, a construction in synergy with the rich and abundant landscape heritage found there.
The design is based on the launch of a modular structural grid in a sector with vast adult and consolidated vegetation. Inserted in this agenda, the program is organized so that the salon and service area coexists in harmony with the trees, sometimes surrounding, sometimes inserted in the construction itself.
Enabling the rapid execution and coherent use of construction materials along the banks of the Pinheiros River, the constructive solution adopted was mixed, with the use of concrete foundations providing for the start of the metallic structure for the arrangement of slabs and panels on the roof, which form an accessible terrace. The modular structure houses a covered salon, kitchen and support areas, as well as bathrooms for general use of the Club.
In the center of the hall, the staircase vertically links the service space from the ground floor to the terrace and symbolizes this function through the lighting of its cable-stayed U-Glass envelope, forming a lantern, which acts as an important element of spatial orientation in the club's landscape.
Around the restaurant, squares with a distinct character were designed, relating the set to both the adjacent Sand Courts and the Alameda, treated as an extension of the service and living spaces.
This relationship is strengthened through the permeability and fluidity of circulation by the construction in all directions, making the presence of the Alameda Restaurant intrinsic in the daily lives of the Club's users.
